QIPAudit is a FREE IPAC Canada member benefit. It is available to all IPAC Canada Members in Canada at organizations that provide healthcare.

QIPAudit will be available worldwide, but today it is only available in Canada. If you are interested in trying QIPAudit outside of Canada, please contact us and tell us about your situation.

How often is it updated?
The Audit Toolkit content is updated regularly by the experts on the IPAC Audit Tool Committee, based on the newest evidence and best practices.
I find it difficult to type on my phone. What can I do?
On most recent devices, you can tap the microphone on the keyboard and dictate into QIPAudit.
Can I download my results?
Yes. You can download your results as a PDF file.
Where is the data stored?
Data is centrally stored in a datacenter in Toronto, Canada.
Any security certifications?
SSAE16 SOC 2 Type II & ISO/IEC 27001:2013
Is the database protected?
The database is encrypted at-rest using industry-standard algorithms.
How is the data protected over the internet?
Data is encrypted in-transit (SSL, TLS1.2). These are the same standards that banks, and other financial institutions use to keep your data safe.
Are you HIPAA / PHIPA compliant?
Yes and No. QIPAudit does not collect protected health information (PHI) so HIPAA / PHIPA is not strictly applicable. Even so, server and database measures for security and encryption are compatible with HIPAA / PHIPA standards. Note that independent at-rest-encryption is not available on mobile devices.
Are you PIPEDA compliant? Are you GDPR compliant?
We are PIPEDA compliant. We believe that we are GDPR compliant; however, QIPAudit is only available to Canadian members of IPAC Canada who work for healthcare providers. If you are located outside Canada and wish to try the tool, please contact us and tell us about your situation.
